New Downs Addition From Rulani's Club Confirmed

Camagu Mdevulana in action for Black Poison FC

It's been confirmed that Mamelodi Sundowns have snapped up a young prospect from co-coach Rulani Mokwena's club, Black Poison FC.

Camagu Mdevulana, 19, has penned an official contract with the Brazilians, with Siya sources informing the crew that he will be part of the club's DStv Diski Challenge team as he eases into life in the fast lane now that he's turned pro.

Black Poison, a side campaigning in the ABC Motsepe League and run by the Rulani Mokwena Foundation, has had Mdevulana as part of their set up since he was 10-years old, so in many ways they've natured his career to date.

It is no doubt a milestone for the club to have one of their players sign for a Premier Soccer League club, although he will start his journey with the reserve side.

"Black Poison Football Club is extremely excited to finally confirm that Camagu Mdevulana has completed a transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns FC," the amateur outfit confirmed this week.

"Dinho joined the club at the tender age of 10 and has almost spend an entire decade at the club. Dinho (19) will be part of the youth teams at the defending PSL champions.
"This is in keeping with the culture of producing top players for professional football and we are thrilled that this is a club boy through and through."
