Arrows managed to maintain their unbeaten start to the season after holding Sundowns to a 1-1 draw at the Sugar Ray Xulu on Saturday afternoon.
There was a bit of late drama when replays showed Onyango appearing to elbow Mathome Mathiane, although there was no card or penalty for Arrows.
"Firstly, I'm happy for [Nkosinathi] Sibisi. I think he deserved the man of the match in other matches. He is the pillar of our team. I'm really happy for him. Not an easy match, these are triple champions from last season whether they change the team, whatever they bring from the bench is still quality," Ncikazi told SuperSport after the game.
"Proud of my team, I thought they give their all. I also thought we could've won the match wherever I was sitting.
"I thought some decisions could've gone in our favour but couldn't control the controllable. I'm still happy that we played a point, we did not lose. But I'm really proud of these boys."
"The Denis Onyango decision, I thought I saw an elbow but I was staying far, maybe the referee was closer let me not go into a territory that I can't control."
