DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed their fifth departure ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Having already let go of Bongani Zungu, Gaston Sirino, Thabiso Kutumela and Brian Onyango, the Tshwane giants have announced their separation with Junior Mendieta.

Greek side, Volos FC, had already announced the arrival of Argentine midfielder Mendieta, giving him an opportunity to enhance his football in Europe.
The Siya crew reported earlier that Mendieta was on the brink of joining the Greek outfit from the Brazilians where he spent one season.

His arrival was announced on the club's official website, though the finer details of his deal were kept under wraps.
Mendieta featured 29 times in all competitions for Sundowns, scoring two goals and setting up three assists.
