The coach, speaking to the media during the Nedbank Cup press conference, said that the young Zwane, who hails from the club's development structures, is special.
"Samkelo is something else. He is a special player. Not because he comes from our youth development but because of his ability in the field of play. He is one of the very few players who can have a pin point pass of between 40-50 metres. He is so creative," the coach explained to journalists in a press conference heald ahead of the clash against Royal AM this weekend.
"He knows how to unlock the opposition defence with his passes. He is playing in the position where Njabulo Blom played before he left. Njabulo did very well in not losing the ball and helping in defence, but he had to leave for greener pastures.
"We could have used other players like Cole Alexander but he was out injured and just returned. We also have Nange who has been also unfortunate with injuries and other personal challenges after losing a close family member.
"But Samkelo has been doing well though he lacks in defending. That's not him. He is a model player. He knowz how to hold the ball and he will improve with more game time," Zwane concluded.
