Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef has revealed that the club has set internal targets for the first half of the season, with those objectives known only within the dressing room as Amakhosi maintain their perfect start with three consecutive wins.
After beating Richards Bay 1-0 in the PSL on Tuesday night, the Tunisian mentor emphasized that while the team has specific goals, they are approaching their campaign without pressure and with the ultimate ambition of winning the Betway Premiership title.

Speaking to the media at FNB Stadium in a post-match press conference following Chiefs' third consecutive victory and clean sheet, Youssef said the team's targets remain confidential between the players and the technical staff.
"We have our target inside. It's inside the team between the players and the technical staff. And it's discussed in our meetings in the dressing room, you can ask about it. We know what we have to do, and we keep it between us. We take every game, game by game. We don’t think about anything. We don't have any pressure. For sure, Kaizer Chiefs is the biggest club in South Africa. We play in the league. We play to win the league," Youssef told journalists.
The match also marked a significant moment for Chiefs as they introduced their three newest signings - Asanele Velebayi, Luke Baartman and Etiosa Ighodaro - to the supporters at half-time.
Youssef acknowledged the quality of the new arrivals but stressed they must earn their places in what he describes as a highly competitive squad environment.

"I think we saw the quality of these players. We need these players to help us in the team, but for them, they come to fight for their positions. Positions at Kaizer Chiefs are difficult. It's very tough to be in this team. The mentality of these players: they need to fight to get their positions and to help the team. And now we have players who are performing well, so they have to fight to get their positions," the coach added.
The three new signings join an already impressive recruitment drive that has seen Chiefs acquire former Orlando Pirates duo Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako, along with Nkanyiso Shinga, Ethan Chislett, Sphesihle Ndlovu and Flavio Silva as the club builds for what they hope will be a successful campaign across multiple competitions.
