Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef has provided an important update on the club’s three new signings, Ethan Chislett, Nkhanyiso Shinga and Flavio Silva, who are yet to feature for Amakhosi this season due to outstanding paperwork.
Chiefs have already played three matches in the Betway Premiership, but the trio have been forced to watch from the sidelines as the club waited for their registration cards to be processed.

Asked about the situation, Ben Youssef explained the latest.
“Shinga is ready. He received his card to play, but still has some fitness work to do with our fitness coach Majdi,” said Ben Youssef.
“Silva, he received his card yesterday. It was late for us. We already decided and we made the plan of the game. And the last player, Ethan, he was sick last week, so he didn’t make any training sessions. So for that, he’s not with us in this game. Is he ready to play? Yeah, he’s ready to play.”
Chiefs fans will be eager to see their new recruits in action soon, as Nabi’s side look to bounce back from a mixed start to the new campaign.
