New signing Khanyiso Mayo will join an exclusive group of players at Kaizer Chiefs following his loan move from CR Belouizdad.
The Soweto giants announced on Friday evening that they had secured the signing of the former Cape Town City striker on a season-long loan.

According to Chiefs, Mayo will join the line of players whose fathers also played for the club, as he dad Patrick Mayo had previously done.
The last player to achieve this feat is Mayo's next teammate Aden McCarthy, who started Chiefs' first three Betway Premiership encounters this season.
The list also includes Chairman Dr. Kaizer Motaung and Kaizer Motaung Jr.; Eliakim Khumalo and Doctor Khumalo; Joseph Mkhonza and Siphiwe Mkhonza, as well as Ace Nkomo and Morgan Gould.
Mayo becomes Chiefs' 11th signing of the transfer window and is expected to link up with his new teammates at Naturena.
