Kaizer Chiefs' Ashley Du Preez is a man on a mission. Fresh off three consecutive victories, the striker urges his team to end the year with a bang and keep the winning momentum rolling.
"The three back-to-back games we've won, it's been amazing for the team. That's what we want, we want to continue our winning mentality," Du Preez told journalists in a media briefing.

"So, in the next game the last game of the year we want to go out there and firstly to enjoy ourselves and get three points and end the year on a high note.
"I think for us as a team we have been striving to do better and won games. So, we want to continue winning and get the three points in the last game of the year," he added.
The 26-year-old hasn't had it easy this season. Injury robbed him of two crucial months after a promising start under former coach Molefi Ntseki. Prior to the setback, Du Preez had already notched a few goals across all competitions.
But now, the injury is behind him, and Du Preez is relishing the chance to get back on the pitch.
"I'm back from injury. Injuries are always a set-back. I'm back from injury, it's so nice to be back. Injuries are always a huge set-back and mentally it can be frustrating, but it was so nice to play a few minutes in the Richards Bay game," Du Preez said.
Since joining Chiefs last season, Du Preez has been an important member of the Amakhosi team. But he dreams of even greater heights. With the ghosts of injury banished and Coach Cavin Johnson's winning formula taking hold, Du Preez looks ahead to a 2024 filled with goals, glory, and maybe even a trophy for the Amakhosi faithful to finally hoist.
Chiefs take on Sekhukhune United away from home on Saturday night.
