With Kaizer Chiefs linked with two players from Simba, Stellenbosch goalkeeper Lee Langeveldt assessed their level after they met twice in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Stellies were one hurdle away from reaching the final of the CAF Confederation Cup but were narrowly booted out by Simba, coached by South African Fadlu Davids.
Steve Barker's charges lost 1-0 in the semi-final first-leg to Wekundu wa Msimbazi away and a goalless draw in the second leg at Moses Mabhida Stadium saw the Western Cape side fall short.

Simba have become one of the sides to watch on the continent since Davids took over at the beginning of last season, as Chiefs have reportedly tabled offers for striker Kibu Denis and midfielder Jean Charles Ahoua.
There are, however, question marks on the level of Tanzanian football and as a consequence, Denis and Ahoua.
After analysing and coming up and close with Simba in two competitive games, Langeveldt was impressed with their level, although he felt they were unfortunate not to get an away goal.
"A couple of good players, I think Fadlu did a good job also with the team. They have a good team, you can see what they try to do, the system they want to play is structured," Langeveldt told Soccer Laduma.
"I felt we were a bit unlucky with the away goal. But we will learn from it, hopefully next season we can do better," the veteran goalkeeper said.

Reports coming out of Tanzania state that Simba are reluctant to sell their star players and want to continue competing at a high level in Africa.
Chiefs are also reportedly chasing the services of another midfielder who plies his trade in Tanzania for Azam, Feisal Salum.
Salum played the full match for The Taifa Stars after they held a much-changed Bafana Bafana side, without Mamelodi Sundowns players, to a goalless draw in a friendly international in the previous FIFA break.
