After Kaizer Chiefs signed a player from rivals Mamelodi Sundowns Lebohang Maboe, which has become a trend, Soccer Laduma looks at how former Sundowns stars have performed at Chiefs.
Maboe is the second Sundowns player signed in the same transfer window, after the club also acquired the services of Etiosa Ighodado.

Chiefs have previously tapped into talent from the Brazilians, after players were deemed surplus to requirements, and also signed Gaston Sirino as a free agent ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Sirino appears to have been a good acquisition for the Glamour Boys as the Soweto giants have won in all the games the 33-year-old has scored, five goals in 28 appearances thus far.
The temperamental forward's biggest contribution on the scoresheet was finding the back of the net in the Nedbank Cup final last season, an opener from the penalty spot, after Chiefs sinked arch-rivals Orlando Pirates 2-1 to lift their first trophy in a decade.
Before Sirino, Amakhosi had signed Khama Billiat, who was still part of the Tshwane giants' plans but did not renew his contract in the prime of his career, opting for a controversial switch to the Glamour Boys in 2018.
The Zimbabwean scored 24 goals at Chiefs in 126 appearances, half the goals he scored at Sundowns in 144 games.
The former Cape Town Spurs winger's only blemish was not being able to win any trophy at Naturena, after a well-decorated career at Masandawana.

A season prior to signing Billiat, the Glamour Boys had also acquired Leonardo Castro, who played more games at Chiefs, 123, compared to his time at the Brazilians, where he featured in only 62 matches.
The Colombian, however, had the same strike rate across the two rivals, although he scored more at Chiefs; 29 goals compared to 16 at Sundowns.
Amakhosi had also signed Ramahlwe Mphahlele from Sundowns ahead of the 2016/17 campaign, who was a captain at various time at both clubs.
Mphahlele appeared to have enjoyed himself more at Naturena where as a defender, he scored six goals in 127 matches, compared to at Chloorkop, where he only found the back of the net once in 97 matches.
