Kaizer Chiefs have been criticised for not taking the chances created in games, and Ashley Du Preez, who joined Amakhosi at the start of the season from Stellenbosch FC, has opened up on his form in front of goal.
Du Preez, speaking to journalists during the club's media day this week, said that he is not happy that he is failing to score goals for his new team because he had set goals for himself this season which he has not achieved so far.

"I set myself goals when I joined Chiefs. I wanted to score 10 goals in the league this season," the striker said to the media at Naturena.
"So far, I have just scored four in the league and three in cup games with six games to go and that's not enough for a striker. I want to keep on scoring in the remaining games and see where I end up," he said.
The Cape Town-born striker added that since its a relatively new team, that could have affected his performance.
"Its true. We have been missing chances. We have not been scoring enough but you must know its almost a new team with new players coming in and we are still getting used to each other.
But, I think we could have done better than this. Now we have to do our best in the remaining games and make sure we finish second and qualify for the Champions League. And above all, congratulations to Mamelodi Sundowns for winning the league," he concluded.
