Kaizer Chiefs U19 head coach David Mathebula has expressed his confidence ahead of the 2025 Engen Knockout Challenge, as the defending champions prepare for another run at glory.

Speaking to Soccer Laduma at the Gauteng draw held on 15 July at Wits Sturrock Park, Mathebula highlighted the hunger within his squad to go all the way again and retain their crown.

Mathebula also reflected on the pride he feels watching academy graduates make the step up to Kaizer Chiefs’ senior team, a testament to the strength of the youth structures at Naturena.
