Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson was critical of the attackers after the team failed to beat Polokwane City in their final home game.
Chiefs were able to remaining eighth position following a goalless draw against Rise and Shine at FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Johnson felt the approach from the players at the start of the encounter was not right.

"I don't think we came out looking like we wanted to win it, I don't think we played like we know we can play, we can hold the ball, we gave the ball away too cheaply in the first-half," Johnson said on SuperSport.
"This is a good team, they can punish you and with all respect to them they almost punished us and we came to the second-half and only really switched on in the last 30 minutes.
"We got a few chances but not clear-cut chances and yes, we should have played better. I'm not happy with the way we're ending the second-last game. We can come out a lot better or we have come out of the last games looking much stronger, looking much better and we didn't get that aggression today from our players," he said.
"I thought we were not good enough technically. You know sometimes technically you must be better on the ball and we were not."
The interim coach felt his attackers did not show up on the day.
"Ja Ranga (Chivaviro) did not show up, (Christian) Saile was on the sides, I thought he had one or two chances, I thought 'Shabba' (Mduduzi Shabalala) had one chance but not to be but we can't do anything about it," he said.
"All we can say is we got a point from the game, we could be happy but we have to do better next time."
