Arthur Zwane Has Discussed Kaizer Chiefs' MDS Loss To Bidvest Wits

Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs may have thrown away their chances of retaining the Multichoice Diski Shield after a second half capitulation over the weekend saw them beaten by Bidvest Wits.

Read: R12.6m At 22! - Chiefs, Bucs Among PSL's 11 Most Expensive Starlets   Arthur Zwane's side looked to be in control of the encounter as they went into the break with a 3-2 lead against the Clever Boys, however, conceded three goals in the second half without a reply as they handed the three points to their opponents.   An on-form Sizwe Twala – who finished the Multichoice Diski Challenge as top scorer – bagged a first half hat-trick to put them in the driving seat, but his personal efforts were not enough to secure three points.   The Glamour Boys' reserve side now need a win against Orlando Pirates this coming weekend if they're to keep their hopes of winning the tournament for the second successive year, with the reigning champions currently three points behind the Buccaneers in the top spot of Group A.    Read: Manyisa's Incredible Pledge To Bucs Fan's Daughter…   Zwane, who was clearly irked by the second half performance, told Chiefs' official website, "You could see that they planned to benefit from dead-ball situations… We let ourselves down. It's unbelievable how we lost this match. Credit to them though, they sat back and caught us napping with corner kicks.   "We gave them the game away… We conceded all the goals from dead-ball situations. That shouldn't have happened. It was a bad day at the office."   The mini Soweto Derby will take place at 11h00 on Sunday morning, with both sides eager to book their spot in the semi-finals.   Check out the most expensive U23 players in South Africa in the gallery below:
