Golden Arrows co-coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi has given Pule Mmodi his blessings following reports that he has signed for Kaizer Chiefs and revealed their targets for next season.
Mmodi was linked with a move away from Arrows last season, especially with his contract coming to an end.

The Siya crew followed the developments closely, as Orlando Pirates and Chiefs were vying for his signature and revealed recently that Amakhosi has probably won the race for the Bafana Bafana forward.
Usually when players are linked with moves away from the club, performances would drop but Vilakazi says this was not the case with Mmodi, who remained professional towards the end of the 2022/23 season, with his contract expiring.
"There's one thing I need to mention about Pule. As much as there (was) this confusion about him, whether he's with Chiefs or going back to Arrows and stuff like that," Vilakazi said on Marawa Sports Worldwide.
"But I must respect his professionalism. I think six or seven games before the end of the season, there were talks about him leaving the club and stuff like that.
"But the commitment was still there. He committed himself for the duration of his contract and we were happy. That's why we were even playing him before the season ended," he said.
'VV', as the former Arrows midfielder is known, also went on and revealed their targets for the upcoming season.
The 40-year old tactician says it's high time they start competing for trophies and that they have ambitions of playing in Africa.
"We had a talk with the players in terms of what we want to achieve. We touched on the point on when last did the team get silverware?" Vilakazi asked.
"I got an answer from the players, that was 2008/09 when we won the MTN8. I was talking to them in terms of trying to put their names on the map of Golden Arrows.
"We need to challenge seriously this season. It's a mandate we were setting between the players and the coaches, in terms of saying we need silverware this (upcoming) season and a very respectable position," he continued.
"I know we always say let's get top eight but it can be better than that. We can finish in position two and find ourselves competing in Africa. It is something we want to see ourselves achieving this season," he added.
