The visibly animated coach can be seen lambasting his side's first half performance, while challenging them to do better in the second half.
The speech clearly worked as Pirates started the second stanza like a house on fire and fought hard to claw their way back into the encounter, with the game ending 3-all after extra-time.
Unfortunately, it wasn't to be for the Soweto giants as the penalty shootout saw them lose 3-2.
