Best Kasi Flava moments

There's very few South African football topics that split opinion like Kasi Flava does. Some might see it as pointless showboating, while others value the cultural or entertainment aspect behind it.

Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro weighed in on the Kasi Flava debate, saying that he sees no issue with the display of skill, on condition that its purposeful.

"It's something cultural in a way. I think everything in football is fine as long as it's useful to gain metres, eliminate players, to feed the next player in the next line, and everything is okay," he said.

"The technical tricks in football are beautiful to see but again, with a purpose. You eliminate somebody? it's fine, you lose the ball, it's not fine," added Riveiro, who spoke after his side's CAF Champions League preliminary round win last Friday over Djabal.

In that match, leading 3-0, Katlego Otladisa showcased an unbelievable piece of skill to create a glorious chance for another goal:

In a man of the match display, Patrick Maswanganyi wowed the Orlando Stadium with an insane 360 to bypass the Cape Town City press:

Kaizer Chiefs' George Matlou came off the bench in his side's 3-0 win over AmaZulu on Saturday and got the FNB Stadium fans off their seats with a improvised turn that resulted in a foul:

Unfortunately for Matlou's teammate Yusuf Maart, he was on the receiving end of TS Galaxy winger Lindokuhle Mbatha's devastating change of direction:
