The story
On Friday, Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana star Teboho Mokoena visited the Ntsu Secondary School in Bethlehem to open his annual under-16 football tournament.
The return of his annual schools' tournament, which will be played at the Bohlokong Stadium in Bethlehem, Free State, on Saturday morning.
This year's edition is set to feature eight local schools from Bohlokong, with the U16 players from the region being exposed to Mzansi's elite footballers, as Mokoena's Sundowns teammates, Neo Maema, Themba Zwane, Grant Kekana, and Mothobi Mvala, will make an appearance.
Mokoena's foundation shared a clip of Mokoena receiving a rousing reception from the aforementioned Ntsu Secondary School students, as the school's U16 side won last year's edition of the tournament.
As revealed by Mokoena's foundation, every player who represented the school at the tournament received brand-new soccer boots and shin guards, sponsored by PUMA.

After this tournament, Mokoeana and his Sundowns teammates will shift their focus to the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the US, with the team set to fly out to their base in Florida on Sunday.
Masandawana have been placed in a challenging Group F alongside German powerhouse Borussia Dortmund, South Korean champions Ulsan FC, and Brazilian giants Fluminense FC.
The reigning Betway Premiership champions will kick off their Club World Cup campaign on 18 June against Ulsan at the 25,000-seat Inter & Co Stadium in downtown Orlando, USA.
