The story
Mamelodi Sundowns made their way to the US for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup tournament, with the team and club staff departing O.R. Tambo International Airport on Sunday afternoon.
The players were dripped out in a new look team tracksuit designed for the tournament, a vibrant design that perfectly blends two of the club's colours, yellow and green.
Sundowns' new PUMA tracksuits for this global club showpiece are predominantly green, with streaks of yellow on the tops and hues of the same yellow design around the pockets and ankles of the trousers.
This standout yellow design is a large, artistic graphic on the front, which seems to be a painterly design that depicts an abstract landscape under a bright sun. It's further rendered in warm oranges and hints of green.
Although it hasn't been officially unveiled by the Brazilians or their technical sponsors, PUMA, the likes of Denis Onyango, Lucas Ribeiro, and coach Miguel Cardoso's Instagram story posts gave fans a glimpse into what the players will be outfitted in on matchdays.
