Shabba x Mazda

Siphwe Tshabalala was spotted with a sublime Mazda SUV ride, with the Bafana legend collaborating with the well-respected car manufacturer to promote a new car.

The 39-year-old boasts an impressive car collection, including a Lexus IS, BMW 125I, Ranger Rover Sport, Mercedes-Benz ML63 and a Golf 7 GTI among other top shelf whips.

Shabba got behind the wheel of a Mazda CX-60 Takumi, a ride the former Glamour Boy describes as: "powerful and luxurious, with the ride said to be the most expensive Mazda currently offered in South Africa.

The ride's pricing starts at R739 800 for the 2.5 Dynamic AT version, while the stunner ridden by Shabba clears the R1 million-mark valued at R1 049 200.

This Mazda SUV arrived in Mzansi back in February, boast plenty of power with an 8-speed automatic transmission, enabling a claimed 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.3 seconds and a top speed of 219 km/h, as stated by carmag.co.za.

The CX-60 Takumi reveals a luxurious array of features, including a 12-inch central display, a premium 12-speaker Bose sound system, black Nappa leather upholstery, and front seats that are not only electrically adjustable but also heated and ventilated.

It's also said to be the most powerful production vehicle Mazda has ever sold in South Africa and with the cheapest version of this car priced at over R700k, Mazda will sure hope Shabba's influence will help them shift as many vehicles as possible to compete with the heavy hitters like Mercedes Benz, Toyota, BMW and Land Rover.
