The story

South African coach Rulani Mokwena recently made startling revelation in his post-match comments after his side's 2-2 draw with FUS Rabat on Monday in the Botola Pro 1.

The former Masandawana tactician told the Moroccan media in the press conference that he's joined players of Islam faith in fasting for Ramadan.

The Red Castle's third consecutive draw in the league resulted in the supporters reacting angrily and throwing objects at the team, Rulani pleading with the Wydad faithful to be more patient with the team.

"It's not easy. Do you know that, this is my first Ramadan as a coach. It's difficult but can I tell you something, that people don't know, I'm fasting with the players," shared Rulani.

"I'm fasting with the players so I can feel what they are going through. I know how difficult it is for me, so if it is for me, how much more difficult is it for these guys who have to run for 90 minutes, who have to train every day?"
