Let's take a closer look...

The Robert Marawa Story

Set to be available at book stores worldwide and published by Pan McMillan, Marawa's 'Gqimm Shelele' promises to be a juicy chronicle of South African sports' most respected TV and radio personalities.

Marawa, who's had a glittering career in media with Soccerzone and Metro FM at SABC as well as a solid stint at SuperSport, has been in the forefront and a solid voice of local sports media since the early 2000s.

The Marawa Sports World presenter, who's also a passionate football fan that supports Liverpool in the English Premier League, is working with Mandy Wiener for his book.

The award-winning Wiener has worked on some blockbuster books such as the 'Behind the door': The Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp story' and in 2020, 'The Whistleblowers'.

Wiener leaves no stoned unturned and it will be interesting to see how she approaches Marawa's story, a man who's story could be beautifully well-layered with drama and inspiration.
