The story
Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana rising star Relebohile Mofokeng was recently gifted a custom-designed jacket by a local designer, created in honour of his club and iconic squad number.
The special jacket celebrates Mofokeng's growing influence both at the Buccaneers and on the national stage, blending fashion and football in a personalised tribute to his remarkable journey so far.
Mokofeng, who's made 89 appearances for Ezimnyama Ngenkani since his debut at the end of the 2022/23 season, commissioned a jacket design from influencer and fashion designer, Buhlebenkosi Salakuphathwa.
Known as Buhle, the CPUT-educated creative shared behind-the-scenes footage of how he constructed Mofokeng's zip-up jacket, which includes one of the player's many nicknames, "Rae Thoma, Rae Fetsa" at the back of the piece.
The front of the jacket features Mofokeng's squad number 38 and Pirates' skull and bones.
