The story
Ndlondlo scored Bafana's third in the 83rd minute, with a classy lob having been assisted by Keagan Dolly, following a rapid counter-attacking move
As written in an article on CAF's website, Ndlondlo "commanded the midfield like a giant."
"For much of the contest, he was South Africa's heartbeat, switching seamlessly between short, medium and long passes, and pressing with unrelenting energy," read the Caf Online piece on Bafana's encounter with Uganda.
Ndlondlo concluded the night with an impressive record: a classy strike in the 83rd minute from outside the box, an assist, four shots, and seven key attacking involvements, earning himself a well-deserved Man of the Match award.

One of Bafana's starting fullbacks at the tournament, Wayde Jooste, vented his frustrations with the usage of VAR in Monday's crucial encounter.
Jooste took to his Instagram story to write, "Please tell me! What's the use of VAR if the laws of the game are going to be consistently ignored?"
The former AmaZulu and Orlando Pirates defender is likely reacting to the two penalties conceded by Molefi Ntseki's side.
Following Ndlondlo's spectacular goal, Bafana conceded a penalty, which Allan Okello successfully converted in the 88th minute.
Controversy arose during stoppage time when the VAR officials were notified of a potential handball in the Bafana penalty area.
After considering the situation, the VAR officials were uncertain about the outcome, leading the referee to award Uganda a penalty after reviewing the incident on the pitch-side monitor, resulting in Rogers Torach's equalizer.
