The story

Orlando Pirates reached their third consecutive Nedbank Cup final after a 1-0 victory over Marumo Gallants FC on Sunday afternoon.

Mercurial midfielder Patrick Maswanganyi made a return to the starting line-up as Pirates coach Jose Riveiro made four changes from the goalless CAF Champions League draw with MC Alger in midweek, with Melusi Buthelezi, Paseka Mako, and Kabelo Dlamini also earning starts.

After the narrow semi-final win over Bahlabane Ba Ntwa at the Orlando Stadium, fan-favourite "Tito" was seen giving away a pair of his boots to a supporter in the stands.

Maswanganyi, who provided the assist for Dlamini's neat winner in the 22nd minute, was interacting with fans as he was making his way down the tunnel.

In a clip that's been widely shared on various social media platforms, the Bafana Bafana international gave away his black PUMA Ultra boots, excluding the insoles.
