The story

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Yusuf Maart renewed his deal with the three stripes this week, sticking by the boots sponsor that's served him for most of his career.

The Bafana Bafana international has made 27 appearances for the Soweto giants this season, making five goal contributions in what’s been another topsy-turvy season at Chiefs.

With a humdinger of a clash awaiting Maart and his Chiefs teammates on Sunday in the Nedbank Cup against last season's finalist, Mamelodi Sundowns, the ex-Sekhukhune United star will hope his F50 boots serve him right. 

Despite Maart's difficulties on the pitch, which have come with some scrutiny from the match-going Khosi Nation, the baller still maintains the trust of adidas. 

As one of adidas South Africa's premium ballers, up there with Relebohile Mofokeng, Deon Hotto, Aubrey Modiba, and Ronwen Williams, Maart is an expert in styling the brand's range of kicks and tracksuits.
