A.F.C Bournemouth will be getting a new kit, designed by one of the club's famous minority owners, Michael B. Jordan. 

The "Creed" actor recently paid a visit to the in-form English side, greeting the players and staff after the club's majority owner confirmed Jordan's special project for the Cherries.

Hollywood star to design Bournemouth kit

Bournemouth's majority owner Bill Foley confirmed over the weekend that one of Hollywood's biggest stars, Michael B. Jordan will be designing a kit for the club.

The Bournemouth owner confirmed in an interview with US outlet CBS Sports that Jordan will assist in creating a kit that will go on sale soon.

When Foley, an American billionaire took over Bournemouth in 2022, he invited minority investors in the new ownership structure at the club, which surprisingly including Jordan.

The investment was Jordan's first major move in professional sports ownership and is not just there to help design the team's kits:

"Mike is a great guy, he's a very down-to-earth, common individual. He hasn't got stars in his eyes. He loves football," says Foley.

"He is really helping us in terms of some our international marketing and marketing in the US. He's designing a kit that will go on sale shortly," confirms the businessman.

Umbro are the current kit suppliers of Bournemouth, who initially started working with the Cherries in 2017 and in 2021, signed a new five-year deal with the brand to continue as the club's trusted technical kit manufacturer. 

Jordan paid a visit to Bournemouth's first team training session, greeting players and coaches, including a warm embrace with USA midfielder Tyler Adams and Spanish head coach Andoni Iraola.
