The story
Lyle Foster is preparing to enter his third full season at Burnley and his second in the English Premier League after the Clarets were promoted from the English Championship League last season.
Foster dazzled with five goals and three assists in 24 appearances, which wasn't enough to keep Burnley from avoiding the drop under now Bayern Munich coach, Vincent Kompany.
Speaking in a Q&A interview, shared across Burnley's social media accounts, Foster reflected on the team's pre-season camp in Portugal and his readiness for the upcoming Premier League season.
When asked if he's started to think about Burnley's league opener against Tottenham on 16 August, Foster answered, "Yeah definitely, our minds are there. But, we're still taking it week by week, just trying to prepare until we get there."
"The most important thing is that we're here now and we're looking forward to the month ahead," added the 24-year-old forward.
