The story
Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Cedric Kaze enjoyed his 46th birthday on the club's pre-season tour in the Netherlands, with the players and staff coming together to celebrate the Burundian coach.
Kaze took to Instagram to post a video of the players, his fellow technical team members and employers presenting him with a cake and singing happy birthday.
Nasreddine Nabi's right-hand man joined the Glamour Boys in October last year and has played a crucial role in the team's tactical improvements and as a translator for the Tunisian head coach.
Kaze, who honed his coaching acumen at Barcelona's La Masia Academy, Burundi's youth national teams before winning titles in Tanzania with Young Africans alongside Nabi, showed plenty of gratitude for the birthday love he received from his Chiefs family.
"Special Day. Thank you, everyone, for the birthday wishes. Thank you to my family for your support, and thank you to the team for the surprise," he wrote on Instagram.
