The story
Orlando Pirates' duo of Zakhele Lepasa & Patrick Tito Maswanganyi are readying themselves for what promises to be an intense pre-season after putting in a session on the pitch on Wednesday.
The Buccaneers start their pre-season prep today as players, current and new, will undergo a series of medical and physical assessments before new coach Abdeslam Ouaddou meets the team next, when the real work begins, as reported by the Siya Crew.
To get ahead of the curve slightly and perhaps to brush off a little rustiness on the ball, striker Lepasa, who missed the entirety of the 2024/25 season due to injury, posted a video of himself and Tito practising some shooting drills.
Meanwhile, Maswanganyi's second season at Bucs saw him make 11 goal contributions in 41 matches across all competitions. He'll look to stamp his influence in Pirates' midfield even further in the 2025/26 campaign, with hopes of replicating his brilliant 2023/24 season.
