"iPresident Yama2000" recently attended a parliamentary session at the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) as a guest.
The Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana star was introduced by Mr Poobalan Govender, the NCOP’s Deputy Chairperson of the Council, who recognised him as a national football talent and mentioned his nickname, "iPresident Yama2000."
The 20-year-old was joined at the gallery by his Relebohile Mofokeng Foundation team, with President Cyril Ramaphosa, Sports, Arts & Culture Minister Gayton McKenzie, and former SAFA Vice President Chief Mwelo Nonkonyane were on hand to welcome the youngster to parliament.
Mofokeng's appearance in parliament affirms the youngster's undeniable star power and positive upward trajectory as a footballer.
