The story

Masandawana's teenage talent, Kutlwano Letlhaku, enjoyed a moment he likely won't forget in a hurry when he provided the assist to his side's third goal against Borussia Dortmund last Saturday.

The AFCON U20-winner with Amajita enjoyed a positive cameo in the game and laid it on a plate for striker Lebo Mothiba to tuck in a tight finish from close range during stoppage time.

In chatting to SABC Sports' Mazola Molefe, the School of Excellence product explained just how on edge he was when he was introduced into the game in the 88th minute.

"Firstly, I was nervous and scared, I was scared of playing against them [Dortmund]. When coach [Miguel Cardoso] came to me and told me that I'm coming on, he said I shouldn't feel under pressure and I should just enjoy the football. So, I guess that made me feel calm," he shared.

Watch below, including his impressive assist for Mothiba:

On Tuesday, perhaps looking ahead to Downs’ crunch final Group F match against Brazil’s Fluminense, Letlhaku posted snapshots of his cameo against Dortmund on Instagram, captioning it, "A Proud Moment."
