The story

Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder Mduduzi Shabalala is becoming a brand magnet after showcasing his latest campaign with Emporio Armani on Instagram.

The 21-year-old, who's featured prominently under Nasreddine Nabi with 28 appearances and 6 goal contributions to his name, is a busy man off the field this season.

Not only did he secure a partnership with Markhams and work with Legends Barber, but he’s also kickstarted his foundation, covering all bases to elevate his branding.

For his latest brand collab, "Mdu or Die" advertised the new Emporio Armani 'Stronger With You Parfum' with his caption describing the fragrance as, "A versatile scent that works well for both casual and more formal occasions. The performance is solid, with good projection and longevity."

Take a look:

Shabalala will hope to follow in the footsteps of legends such as Siphiwe Tshabalala, Teko Modise and Lucas Radebe, who have carved out amazing brands for themselves.

Although the Chiefs academy graduate has a lot of football to play in his promising career, getting on top of his image off the field is a masterstroke by Shabalala that could see other youngsters following suit.
