The story

Former Kaizer Chiefs baller Junior Khanye is baring his soul in an upcoming reality show set to hit Mzansi Wethu screens this July.

Titled "Fixing the Game: Junior Khanye," the 14-part series delves into Khanye's off-the-pitch journey as he tackles what he deems his "second chance at life."

Beyond football, the show chronicles Khanye's quest to mend relationships, reignite his career, and redefine his future. With a history of setbacks documented on platforms like Mzansi Magic's "I Blew It," Khanye faces a daunting challenge with numerous hurdles.

Channel Director for Local Entertainment Channels, Shirley Adonisi, expresses hope that viewers will find resonance and inspiration in Khanye's comeback narrative:

"Everyone loves a good comeback story and Fixing the Game is one that we hope viewers will enjoy and also identify with," She says.

"We bring reality shows like this one not just for entertainment, but hopefully for valuable lessons from some of the most admired public personalities and how they navigate this game called life," adds Adonisi.

"I am honoured and humbled and through this show, I want to be an example that every change you want in your life starts with you," he added.

Khanye's journey, encapsulating themes of resilience and personal growth, unfolds in "Fixing the Game: Junior Khanye," premiering on Mzansi Wethu DStv Channel 163 on Thursday, July 11th at 18:30.
