The story
Social media has been abuzz since Orlando Pirates confirmed that Monnapule Saleng will be loaned out for the 2025/26 season.
The Bafana Bafana international winger, who hasn't featured for the Buccaneers since December last year, will join the newly-promoted Orbit College on a season-long loan, temporarily, drawing speculation around Saleng's future to a close.
With no official word on the player from Pirates for months, the speculation had been rife about the future of the 27-year-old, even though he is still under contract until June 2026.
Rumours of Saleng joining arch rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Egyptian giants Al Ahly have well and truly been put to bed with new developments.
