The story

Not long after TS Galaxy confirmed the departure of their top scorer, Dženan Zajmović, the sharp-shooter took to his Instagram account to post a meaningful farewell message to the club.

The Bosnian striker made a strong impact in his debut Betway Premiership campaign after joining in July last year under then-coach Sead Ramovic.

Zajmović netted 11 goals and provided three assists in 28 matches across all competitions, playing a crucial role in Galaxy's impressive fifth-place league finish with 35 points.

In his goodbye message to The Rockets, he thanked his employers and teammates for creating a family-like environment at the club.

"Unfortunately, my chapter at TS Galaxy has come to an end. I would like to thank the chairman, Tim Sukazi, the head coach, Adnan Beganovic, the club director, Nermin Basic and the whole staff, and last but not least, my AMAZING TEAMMATES," wrote the Belgian-born forward, adding:

"It truly felt like being part of a family, and I have learned so much from all of you. I wish everyone continued success, and may the next season be even better than this one."

Zajmović posted a compilation video of his best moments representing the Rockets, including a slideshow of snaps of him celebrating wins with teammates and scoring against Chippa United and Cape Town City.
