The story
Kaizer Chiefs fans had their say on the Twitter/X timeline after Nasreddine Nabi's troops let a first-half lead slip as they fell 2-1 to Vitesse Arnhem in their opening pre-season friendly during their tour of the Netherlands on Tuesday.
Reeve Frosler put Amakhosi ahead with a thunderbolt of a finish in the 37th minute at the RKSV Driel Stadion in Driel, but an own goal by Dillan Solomons early in the second half levelled matters before Vitesse sealed the win with a goal from Andy Visser in the 74th minute.
Supporters were able to get a first glimpse at new signings like Thabiso Monyane, Flavio Silva and Ethan Chislett, including some talent from Chiefs' DStv Diski Challenge-winning side.
The fans not only let their feelings be known about the new faces in the squad, but also the club's current big names, with some members of the Khosi Nation calling for some of these players to be replaced.
Amakhosi will return to South Africa on 19 July and will also face Utrecht on Friday, NEC Nijmegen on Saturday, PEC Zwolle on 15 July, and FC Twente on 16 July.
Here are some of the standout reactions to Amakhosi's first pre-season game:
