The story
Durban-born rap sensation Blxckie recently paid a special visit to Mamelodi Sundowns’ headquarters in Chloorkop, fully embracing the spirit of serial winners, Masandawana.
Guided by Bafana Bafana international, Mothobi Mvala, the "Ye x4" hitmaker got an exclusive tour of the club's training facilities, from the gym to the packed trophy cabinet and got his hands on the striking new PUMA 'Art of Play' yellow Home kit.
The visit offered Blxckie, who admitted to enjoying watching Sundowns play growing up, a behind-the-scenes look at the club's operations and culture — an experience many fans can only dream of.
Affectionately known as "Somnyama," the South African Music Award-winning rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer reflected on his favourite Sundowns memories, like Hlompho Kekana's thunderous long-range goals and the unforgettable 24-0 demolition of Powerlines FC.
