The story
Ex-Amakhosi captain Yusuf Maart has been making the most of his FIFA Break in Austria, recently exploring one of the country's top summer destinations.
Since joining Austrian Bundesliga side SV Ried in July, the 30-year-old has become a key figure in their midfield, featuring in all seven of their league and cup matches this season.
Off the field, Maart appears to be settling in well, often seen enjoying downtime with fellow South African Antonio van Wyk.
His latest Instagram post shows him relaxing at the upscale Das Attersee restaurant, which offers stunning views of Lake Attersee — the largest inland lake in Austria.
Located in the scenic Salzkammergut region of Upper Austria, Lake Attersee is less than an hour from Maart's new base in Ried im Innkreis and is a hotspot during the European summer.
Known for its crystal-clear waters and surrounded by picturesque mountains, the area is ideal for hiking and water sports. It's also recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its prehistoric pile dwellings.
