Bafana reactions

Bafana Bafana did not get off to an ideal start at the Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday night, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Mali.

Second-half goals from Hamari Traori and Lassine Sinayoko was enough to secure all three points for the West African outfit, who now top Group E on goal difference.

Twitter/X was a buzz from the moment the first whistle went and the commentary went into overdrive with many critiquing Percy Tau's penalty miss and Bafana's poor second-half effort.

EFF leader Julius Malema called for changes at SAFA after the crushing loss, while Maps Maponyane and Prince Kaybee also shared their views on the current state of Bafana Bafana.
