The story
Whether she's singing, being interviewed or speaking in a podcast, Banyana Banyana goalkeeper Andile Dlamini is a natural on the mic.
The Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies star recently co-anchored DJ Sbu's "The Hustler's Dream Podcast" alongside Big Brother Mzansi's Umlilo Edition contestant, Siphesihle 'Mshini' Lekwadu.
This was done as a trial run by DJ Sbu to see if the duo can one day start their podcast, platformed by his production network.
"Dear DJ Sbu, thank you for this opportunity. Hey guys, DJ Sbu gave me and @mshinilekwadu the opportunity to start our own podcast! Please check it out on [Hustler's Corner] YouTube.
"We want your opinion, and of course, the name of the podcast needs to come up with y’all. Two females kicking it in the entertainment industry," wrote Dlamini on IG, previewing the episode done with Mshini.
Both Lekwadu and Dlamini spoke on their journeys in the Big Brother House and professional football as a woman, respectively.
The bright-eyed duo established a solid rapport in their episode, giving themselves a healthy starting point for what could be an entertaining podcast.
Dlamini is also continuing on her path to becoming a musician, posting snippets of herself singing in a recording studio.
She also linked up with hitmakers, DJ Zinhle and Murdah Bongz, in what looked to be a studio, perhaps hinting at a potential collaboration with the seasoned producer/DJ couple.
