Orlando Pirates defender Nkosinathi Sibisi has suggested that the Soweto Derby defeat to Kaizer Chiefs has motivated the side to fight for the Nedbank Cup.
Pirates lost their fifth consecutive derby against arch-rivals Chiefs in the DStv Premiership over the weekend after a last-gasp own goal by Olisa Ndah gave Amakhosi a 1-0 win.

The Glamour Boys also completed a league double over their bitter rivals and Sibisi says it was "disappointing" conceding in the dying moments of the game, especially after they nearly held on to a point after the red-card of Innocent Maela with 30 minutes to go.
"It's a disappointing result as you said you know, it's not easy especially conceding a goal like that in the dying moments of the game," Sibisi told Pirates media.
"But I think we fought and also to lose our captain that early, it was not easy. The only thing we can do is to pick ourselves up you know, we have another game coming."
The Buccaneers will play in another derby against Swallows, who are fighting relegation, on Friday and 'Bhodlela' carried on and said that all is not lost, as they will continue to fight in the league, still lying third on the log and five points behind second-placed SuperSport United.
After winning the MTN8 earlier in the season, Sibisi also alluded that the derby loss to Chiefs makes them want to go all out in the Nedbank Cup and urged their supporters not to lose hope.
"We also have a Nedbank to play for, so all is not lost. So we'll try our utmost best to fight for every three points in the games remaining and hopefully fight for the cup as well," he went on.

"We would like to say to our fans sorry for the loss, you know they came in numbers to support us but please keep on supporting us, we'll try and make them proud," he added.
