Chiefs’ Obrigado To Feature Alongside Khune & Co.

The votes for the Carling Black Label All Star match is heating up, with Kaizer Chiefs starlet Mfundo 'Obrigado' Vilakazi amongst the leading players to feature in the spectacle.

Carling Black Label have shown their creativity and ingenuity through the Carling Knockout.

One of the talking points of the competition is the Carling Black Label All Star match, which will see the winners of the 2023/24 Carling Knockout take on an All-Star side, as voted for by the fans, in an exhibition match.

Excitingly, the All-Star team will consist of five players from the DStv Diski Challenge teams.

As per the latest voting results, Amakhosi starlet Mfundo Vilakazi is currently one of four Chiefs players that are leading the pack with Ashley Du Preez, Itumeleng Khune and Thulani Mabaso all featuring.

On the side of Orlando Pirates, Kermit Erasmus, Monnapule Saleng, Paseka Mako and Olisa Ndah all feature in the starting XI of the All-Star team.

Two Mamelodi Sundowns juniors in Thabo Nkabinde and Kutlwano Mohanwe are featured in defence, while AmaZulu's Siphamandla Zikhali is the only player outside the 'Big three' to feature.

The Carling All Star match is scheduled to take place on 6 January 2024 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
