The Brazilians clinched their maiden MultiChoice Diski Challenge title after defeating Cape Town City 4-1 in their final game of the campaign.

"Finally we got what we wanted, we got what's missing in our cabinet. Congratulations to the boys, it was a tough ride, we took some bumps, we took some knocks in critical stages, but we recovered," Notoane said after the game.

"I'm happy today everything went according to plan, the first 20 minutes we wanted to take the game to them and we got the goal. Halftime, we went in and I said 'boys it's 0-0, lets start again and the response was fantastic.

"The supporters, thanks very much for coming through in numbers, the support from the top, coach Pitso (Mosimane), technical and of course the president.

"When things were tough, they inspired and motivated us and we kept believing and today it's paying off."
