Ajax Cape Town 2-3 Mamelodi Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns returned to winning ways in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge, after securing a 3-2 win over Ajax Cape Town.
Samuel Julies opened the scoring for the Brazilians after two minutes, before Neo Makua leveled matters in the 37th minute. Keletso Makgalwa put Sundowns back in front, while Tashreeq Morris leveld matters once again. However, Julies had the last laugh as he scored the winner with a composed left-footed finish in the 84th minute, as Sundowns maintained top spot for anothr week.
Orlando Pirates 2-1 Highlands Park Orlando Pirates secured a second straight victory, after recording a 2-1 win over Highlands Park on Saturday afternoon. Yusuf Maart handed Pirates the lead from the penalty spot in the 20th minute, before Grant Peters continued his fine form by doubling the lead in the 64th minute. Highlands pulled on back through Muzi Thabotha after 78 minutes, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
