It was the final Group A matches in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge with 15 goals scored across four games on Saturday, October 25 at the Galeshewe Stadiumas Bloemfontein Celtic, SuperSport United, Polokwane City and the University of Pretoria all won their respective matches.

A 92nd minute penalty goal from Enoch Phungulwa handed Celtic a 1-0 win over Ajax Cape Town and saw them confirm their place in the quarterfinals of the competition after finishing top of Group A with 14 points from seven games.

Ajax crashed out of the competition, finishing in sixth place with only eight points in the league stage.

A brace from Ryan Chapman and a goal from Andile Fikizolo handed SuperSport United a 3-0 win over Moroka Swallows to finish second in the group and gurantee their pace in the quarterfinals with 13 points from seven games.

Swallows finished bottom of Group A with only three points.

Polokwane were the most impressive side on the day with a 6-1 thumping of Maritzburg United to finish third in the group with 12 points and into the quarterfinals of the competition.

A brace each from Mothusi Gopane, Ayanda Lubela and Sandile Ngubo handed Polokwane the convincing win.

Maritzburg finished in seventh place on the table with five points

The final MDC match of the day saw Tuks come from a goal behind to beat Kaizer Chiefs 3-1 to earn a spot in the quarterfinals after finishing in fourth place while the Amakhosi finished in fifth.
