Orlando Pirates 2-3 Bloemfontein Celtic
Orlando Pirates were left stunned, after they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Bloemfontein Celtic Saturday morning.
Celtic broke the deadlock in the 20th minute through Mahlasela, before they doubled their lead in the 32nd minute.
Bernard Morrison pulled one back for Pirates in the 42nd minute while Yusuf Maart leveled matters from the penalty spot on the stroke of halftime. Celtic secured the winner in second-half stoppage time.
Ajax Cape Town 2-3 Chippa United
Ajax Cape Town suffered their second straight MDC defeat, after they went down 3-2 to Chippa United at Ikamva on Saturday morning.
The Cape out raced into a two-goal lead in the opening 16 minutes through Masilake Phohlongo and Neo Makua.
Donald Mokondelela and Tshwarelo Bereng hit back for the Chilli Boys, before the hosts were reduced to 10 men when Lebogang Mokeona was sent off in the first half.
Chippa left it late in the second half as Nabo nodded home the winning goal in stoppage time.
