Lebogang Manyama played in a friendly match for Kaizer Chiefs' MultiChoice Diski Challenge team at the weekend.
With Chiefs head coach Giovanni Solinas confirming last week already that the newly signed player wouldn't make his debut against SuperSport United in the MTN8 match over the weekend.
The club has been working on the fitness of the former Cape Town City star, to get him ready to be considered for selection for the Italian mentor's matchday squads as soon as possible.
During a friendly match for Chiefs' MDC side against ABC Motsepe League's Baberwa FC this past weekend, Manyama was given a run in Arthur Zwane's side to help him improve his fitness levels.
Baberwa posted a picture of Manyama on the field against their team on Sunday, on the club's official Twitter account.
