Kaizer Chiefs' Multichoice Diski Challenge head coach, Arthur Zwane, thinks that the competition was a success despite only finishing fifth on the table.

The Amakhosi signed off their MDC campaign with a 3-1 defeat at the hands of winners, Bloemfontein Celtic, ending the campaign eight points behind Siwelele but with substantially the best goal difference in the league.
Speaking to the club's official website after their final loss, Zwane said, "This match simply summed up a season of fluctuations… Check the final stats – we scored a lot of goals, but we also conceded very soft ones and, more so, lost matches that we weren't supposed to lose. Overall, however, I'm happy with the way the guys are developing as players.
"We have done our best, our report card has some positive points to be celebrated. Twala scored the most goals and, as a team, we also netted the most, topping the sides above us.
The Glamour Boys' MDC side finished fifth on the log, but with 41 goals and a goal difference of +21, both the highest in the league, and had Sizwe Twala finishing as the tournament's top scorer with 12 goals in 15 games.
Zwane went on to add that there are positives to take, saying, "We met our objective to grow talent, which resulted, for example, in the promotion of Happy Mashiane to the first team. And there's also our contribution to the national team – the Under-20s had two of our players in the squad that qualified for the 2019 World Cup."
Chiefs will now be looking to see which players from their MDC side, such as youth internationals like Njabulo Blom and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo can go on to represent the senior team going forward.
