Golden Arrows' European Tour Details Confirmed

Golden Arrows' European tour has been confirmed, with the team's fixtures also having been announced.

As their prize for winning the MultiChoice Diski Challenge this season, Arrows will be visiting Spain this week. 

It will be Abafana Bes'thende's second European tour, as they went to the Netherlands last season, after winning the MDC title.  

"The MultiChoice Diski Challenge winners, Lamontville Golden Arrows are counting down to their second European Tour as they will be visiting Spain this week as part of their prize for winning the Diski Challenge this season. This is Golden Arrow's second title. The first time they won the championship, they went on a tour to the Netherlands," the PSL confirmed in a statement.

"This week, as they prepare to jet off to Spain to mix with football royalty in Madrid and Barcelona, there is an air of excitement and expectations from the players and technical staff. The Durban based outfit together with two lucky fans will depart for Spain on Saturday the 17th March 2018 and return Tuesday 27th March 2018.

"Upon arrival in Spain, the Diski Challenge Champions will attend a La Liga match on Sunday 18 March 2018, between Spanish giants Real Madrid and Girona at the iconic Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

"During their visit, the club will get to display their talent when they clash against Rayo Vallecona who are playing in the Segunda Division, officially known as La Liga 2.

"Two more games are lined up for the KZN side during their stay in Spain. The second match will be a much-anticipated clash against Barcelona Reserve on Thursday, 22 March and their last match of the tour will be against Espanyol Reserve on Monday, 26 March.

Day 1 (Sunday, 18 March) – Watch La Liga Match Real Madrid vs Ginora

Day 2 (Monday, 19 March) – Match day vs. Rayo Vallecano U19 

Day 3 (Tuesday, 20 March) – Training Session at Real Madrid Sport City and Santiago Bernabeu tour

Day 4 (Wednesday, 21 March) – Training Session and Travel to Barcelona

Day 5 (Thursday, 22 March) – Match Day vs FC Barcelona U20

Day 6 (Friday, 23 March) – Training session and Camp Nou Stadium tour

Day 7 (Saturday, 24 March) – Training Session and Recreation 

Day 8 (Sunday, 25 March) – Training Session

Day 9 (Monday, 26 March) Match Day vs RCDEspanyol U20 and Travel to Madrid
